and Digital Course Books
Pearson Central Europe Publishing House – a multinational publishing and education company – delegated to VM.PL a number of projects. The first one involved creation of digital course books for students of English and German as a second language and interactive whiteboard software for teachers of English and German. The second was to create and run a comprehensive diagnostic system for evaluating the level of school students’ knowledge.
We started our cooperation in 2012. During the first stage our team carried out the first project - the creation of several e-course books. After its completion in 2016 we started the second one.
The diagnostic portal we created is a tool for teachers to input the students results. It could organize class systems at schools and a report system allowing the analysis of the results of diagnostic measurements. It also could create progress and efficacy reports (i.e. individual reports for students, classes, and schools to manage and compare results and progress against region or country population).
We delivered to the client approximately 20 English and German digital course books, which help students to gain knowledge in more compelling way.
The second result of our works is a comprehensive dedicated diagnostic system. This product allows teachers to independently test the abilities of thousands of students in the school education system and to conduct knowledge diagnostic tests of students at Polish schools.
Although the project was ready in 2018, works are still ongoing. We are still providing the extensive ongoing software development work until now. We have been working on a major upgrade for the platform since 2016, making their tests available online through mobile devices and computers. We’re also working now on a formative assessment project for the client.
